The Beall Fig (introduced in Santa Clara, CA, in 1924) is a highly sought-after heirloom variety famous for its distinct, fruity flavor. It produces large fruits with purplish-black skin and a rich amber flesh.

  • Flavor:  Widely celebrated for its strong, distinct peach overtone, which many enthusiasts say tastes just like a ripe peach but with a classic, succulent fig texture.
  • Type: Classified as a "Common" type, meaning it is completely self-fertile and does not require pollination by wasps to produce a crop.
  • Crops: Produces two crops per year: a large, tasty early breba crop and a main crop later in the season.
