The LSU Gold fig is a highly productive, early-ripening cultivar developed by Louisiana State University. It features large fruit with thin, lemon-yellow skin and sweet, amber-to-pink flesh. The flavor profile is honeyed and tropical, often compared to agave, cantaloupe, and hints of berry.
